Ryan Ramey was born and raised in Hurricane and graduated from Hurricane High School in 1999. He received a degree from Marshall University in Psychology in 2004.
His career has spanned from working with children and families who were dealing with mental and behavioral health conditions to case management for those navigating state services. He has been involved in various aspects of ministry at the church throughout his adult life – serving as a Sunday School Teacher for over 15 years - first teaching the College and Career Class and currently teaching the High School Class. He has served as Caravan Director, NYI President, Children’s Ministry Co-Director, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday School Superintendent. Ryan is currently the Nazarene WVS District Junior Blast Coordinator as well.
Beginning in January 2023, he began a full-time role at the church as Director of Family Ministries and is thrilled with the opportunity to use his experience and education to more fully serve God, the church family and the community through this position.
He and his wife Amanda have two boys, Austin and Carson. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities and traveling.
Ryan is excited and looking forward to getting to know all of our church families even better!
