The Pathfinders Children’s Ministry at our church is growing, and we enthusiastically welcome new kids (and their families) to join us at Hurricane First Church of the Nazarene! In addition to fun special events for the holidays, here’s what we do every week:

We have Children’s Church on Sunday mornings during the 10:40 am worship service. Drop off and pick up are at the “Pathfinders Basecamp”, which is just past the Fellowship Hall. Children’s Church starts as a big group for Pre-K-5th graders with music and worship time. Then, the kids break out into age-based small groups that rotate between a Bible lesson, an activity or game that illustrates the lesson and the connection table where each group discusses a big question related to the lesson. (The only exception is that each 5th Sunday is Family Worship Day where the kids join their families in the main service.)

We also have classes for kids on Sunday evenings during the 6:00 pm worship service. There’s one for PreK-Kindergarteners and one for 1st-5th graders. All classes are down the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.

On Wednesday evenings, we have a group for PreK-Kindergarteners and one for 1st-5th graders. All classes are down the hallway by the Fellowship Hall. The elementary age group gathers at 6:45 to have extra time for games and fellowship followed by praise and worship and a lesson centered on the Bible.

For the littlest members of your family, we have a nursery available during all services for babies and toddlers through 3 years old.
